Blizzard dengan gamenya World of Warcraft mengumumkan tanggal peluncuran untuk eskpansi baru mereka yaitu Cataclysm.Blizzard Entertainment telah secara resmi mengumumkan tanggal perilisan dari Cataclysm dan tanggal tersebut adalah 7 Desember 2010.Untuk harga retail akan dikenakan $39.99 via digital download dari Blizzard Store,sedangkan The Collector's Edition akan dikenakan $79.99
"Cataclysm includes the best content we've ever created for World of Warcraft," said CEO and co-founder Mike Morhaime. "It's not just an expansion, but a re-creation of much of the original Azeroth, complete with epic new high-level adventures for current players and a redesigned leveling experience for those just starting out.Sementara itu tanggal peluncuran untuk di luar Amerika Utara belum ditentukan kapan tanggal pastinya.
